Product Information
This ground-up redesign takes the best of THE BOSS™ long-throw orbitals and incorporates many of the technical innovations of the G9. The project continues the collaboration with their new manufacturing partner with all components being exclusively designed to their specifications.
For G21, they've taken the shape of the G9 and extended the body housing by 20% to accommodate a 'big block' 1,100-watt motor. This represents a 22% increase in power versus the previous tool. In the G21, the motor delivers a speed range of 3,000 to 4,500 orbits per minute.
Among the more innovative features of this tool is its cooling strategy. Due to its long-throw articulation, the G21 could not integrate fan cooling in its counterbalance like the G9. So they engineered the G21 with its cooling fan integrated into the backing plate. This new backing plate technology was developed exclusively for these machines and is undeniably best in class.
Balancing the combined weight of a backing plate, buffing pad, and the liquid on the pad translates into less vibration and a smoother running machine. For instance, microfiber pads generally weigh nearly twice as much as a foam pad so fine tuning is beneficial. Their innovative Weight Optimization System consists of three uniquely engineered fasteners, each weight-matched to a Griot's Garage pad type to ensure you'll enjoy best in class performance from these machines.
It should be noted that long-throw polishers are not ideally suited for application of waxes and sealants. Their large throw tends to cure the wax unevenly with the exception of their BOSS™ Finishing Sealant whose formula is designed to comply with the heat cycling of long-throw orbits. The G8 or G9 are their most suitable tools for wax application. Also, the G21, when converted to a 5" backing plate and fitted with a BOSS Microfiber Fast Cutting Pad is their most aggressive paint correcting combination.

RETURNS
IAG Off-Road Products 30 Day Return Policy
Most IAG Products are subject to a 30 Day return policy which begins on the date the product is received. IAG engines, electronics, clearance items, discontinued items, blemished items, and open box specials are not eligible for return. To verify if a product is eligible for return, please contact our support team at support@iagoffroad.com. All product returns require a return authorization number (RMA#) before being shipped back to IAG. An RMA number is obtained by calling the IAG Support Desk at 410-840-3555 or emailing support@iagoffroad.com. Items eligible for our 30 Day Return Policy may be subject to a full refund of the price originally paid once they are received back and verified to be in brand new and resellable condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping to IAG Off-Road and if free shipping was provided on the initial purchase, the customer is also responsible for reimbursement of IAG’s shipping cost to be deducted from the product refund.
If 31-60 days have passed since the product was received, IAG may consider a return with a 20% restocking fee and issuance of store credit to IAG’s webstore on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team (support@iagoffroad.com) to determine whether the product is eligible. No returns will be considered if more than 60 days have passed since the item was received.
Non-IAG Products Return Policy
-Special order and/or non-stocking items are generally not eligible for return. Some products not manufactured by IAG Off-Road may be returned at the discretion of the manufacturer. IAG Off-Road can help coordinate returns, exchanges and warranty claims of these products per the terms of the manufacturer’s policies. A minimum of 20% restocking fee is required if a non-IAG item is eligible for return. Store credit may sometimes be offered as an alternative if refund is not eligible. *Engine components, electronics (such as Cobb Accessport), clearance items and open box specials are not eligible for return.
REFUNDS
Refunds may take up to 30 days to process. Payments made by Credit Card or PayPal are returned back to the original account used during the transaction. In lieu of refunds, a store credit in the full amount of the refund can be issued immediately as a more immediate alternative. There are no cash returns; IAG will issue a business check for the return of funds. Refunds are decided by the management and not by sales staff. Canceled service appointments with deposits are non-refundable.
IAG Product Warranty
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. We limit the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. The remedies described below are your sole and exclusive remedies and our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. Our liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the product, nor shall we under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.
We're proud to offer a Lifetime Warranty on IAG manufactured parts. In the unlikely event of a structural failure excluding powder coating, we will provide free repair or replacement for life to the original purchaser.
IAG will repair any IAG manufactured product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship within the warranty period. If a repair is not possible, we will either replace your Pproduct with a new product of similar composition and price, or refund the full purchase price of your product, at our sole discretion. There is no charge for inspection but the buyer is responsible for shipping charges.
IAG I-Line imported parts offer a three-year limited warranty. In the unlikely event of a failure, we will provide free replacement parts for three years to the original purchaser. If the product is discontinued we will provide store credit in the amount of the original purchase.
Other Manufacturer Products:
Products not manufactured by IAG are subject to the individual manufacturer warranties which may apply. If you have questions concerning the fitment, appearance, or performance of your item, please contact a member of our customer support team for assistance.
