Our AOS design is based on years of extensive research, development, and testing. It features a spacious 1-liter cast aluminum swirl pot canister that more effectively separates oil from the PCV system upstream of PCV gasses’ return to the intake system. Featuring a heated cast aluminum housing, exceptional venting, and a distinctive baffle design, the IAG AOS outshines the competition. Compatible with all fuel types, our AOS not only prolongs engine life, but enhances crankcase ventilation, and works seamlessly with standard ECU calibrations.

Preventing oil from entering the intake is critical to avoid early mechanical issues and maintain optimal engine performance. When oil gets into the intake, it coats internal parts like the intake, intercooler, pipes and valves. This can cause premature failure of rubber or silicone hoses, eventually resulting in failed connections. Once oil reaches the intake tract, it can flow directly into the intake manifold and into the engine's combustion chamber. Once inside the combustion chamber, it can cause detonation and preignition, high emissions, smoke, decreased power, lower gas mileage and even catastrophic engine failure.

MAINTENANCE FREE

The IAG AOS is designed for maintenance-free operation. Unlike conventional catch-can systems, our Air Oil Separators do not require regular draining or upkeep. Oil that has been separated accumulates on the inner walls of the AOS canister and gradually flows down by gravity, returning to the engine's crankcase. Our advanced heating system keeps the collected oil free from sludge, ensuring it can be safely reintroduced back into the engine. The large volume canister of this Air Oil Separator allows for oil to drain back slowly, preventing the overflow issues common with smaller catch cans.

HOW DOES THE AOS WORK? WHAT’S INSIDE?

The IAG Air Oil Separator features a distinctive baffle system that enables the oil suspended in your engine's PCV gasses to gather and return to the crankcase. The inlet hoses are positioned on one side of the AOS canister, which creates a vortex of the gasses inside. As the gasses move within the vortex, they move through a series of baffles that collect the oil, while allowing the gasses to escape from the top of the AOS. Since the OEM PCV operation is maintained, the engine draws an additional vacuum on the AOS assembly, further eliminating the PCV gasses.

MAINTAINS THE OPERATION OF THE OEM PCV SYSTEM

The IAG Air Oil Separator maintains the functionality of the OEM PCV system, while supplementing its capacity. The IAG Air Oil Separator PCV discharge gasses return to the intake manifold, retaining the PCV valve to draw additional suction, which helps to improve air oil separation. In ethanol-fueled applications, our AOS safeguards against oil dilution and lubrication issues by capturing fuel vapors from the oil and redirecting them into the intake tract for combustion. The IAG AOS offers superior protection against oil entrainment in the intake flow and oil dilution in the engine's lubrication system compared to the OEM PCV system alone.

HEATED TO PREVENT CONDENSATION BUILDUP

The IAG Air Oil Separator incorporates a specialized heating system designed to overcome a common problem seen in lower-quality catch cans. As hot PCV gasses flow through a cold hose, condensation forms inside. Over time, this condensation mixes with the oil, causing sludge to form within the system. IAG has solved this issue by attaching the AOS to the vehicle’s cooling system. This allows heat to be transferred from the engine to the AOS. By heating the AOS body to the same temperature as the engine, the condensation and the associated buildup is greatly reduced or nearly eliminated.

EASY, PLUG AND PLAY INSTALLATION

For the 2024+ Ford Ranger Raptor, our engineers have created an Air Oil Separator system that is as easy to install as possible. We have developed and included custom injection molded fittings to connect to your Ford’s factory breather ports. These fittings are designed to be plug-and-play with the OEM breather ports, so there's no need to make any modifications to the fittings.

Installed on a 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor, The average mpg, was (16.2). After install, believe me, (18.3- 19.4) mpg, Seems smoother, Had a question on how the hose route to the Oil dip stick adapter , Which your help desk assisted. Cosmetically Correct, And results great.

Quick factory fittings made this install on my 2025 Ranger Raptor a breeze. Total install was about 1.5hrs.

IAG Air / Oil Serarator Installation

First off, their product is top shelf, all included hardware is first rate. Nothing cheesy about this unit or included hoses, bracket, etc.
The 12 minute installation video is also quite good... however, it does show all pieces removed and replaced as looking quite easy to do, with connections just slipping right off. This is not hardly the case, and my truck only has 1500 miles on it, so nothing crudded up due to time or hard use. I was a good 4 hours installing this unit, with another 2 hours probably, rewatching parts of the video over and over, plus going over the PDF file to identify the correct hoses, routings and connections (nothing labeled 1, 2, 3 or a, b, c... etc. that would have been nice). And I'm a shop guy who also knows his way around an engine bay, with a plethora of tools at my disposal. The install is just not so simple with how packed everything is under the hood any more and trying to make the installation job look factory perfect. So that being said, it did install really nice, they did their engineering job quite well and everything fit superbly. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice addition for turbo charger longevity, glad I added it and would do again... just plan on a few hours to get it all installed perfectly.
